People in İstanbul to Get Enough of Baklava

Fıstıkzade Baklavaları opened its Ataşehir branch with a ceremony. Following the ceremony, Fıstıkzade Executive Board Member Vedat Diri told the people that the original Gaziantep baklavas with stevia formula are especially intended for the diabetic patients.

DIABETICS CAN ALSO EAT BAKLAVA

Stressing the fact that diabetics can also eat baklava now, Vedat Diri said: "In our country, you know we have so many diabetic patients. They want to have baklava but they cannot. Therefore, we applied R&D for this product. Stevia is a natural plant. It regulates the blood sugar used by the diabetics. However, studies were carried out into this product in the past. Studies were carried out on low-calorie  baklavas. As a result of 6-month of R&D work, we were able to put together a special stevia formula for the original Gaziantep baklava by lowering the calorie of both flour and the butter. Now the diabetics can also enjoy baklava. The Ataşehir branch owner Nilüfer Özyıldırım said "We are opening our first store in Ataşehir, İstanbul. Our motto is to make sure that people here will get enough of baklava. Our products are hundred percent Antep products. They come daily from Antep. İstanbul Master Franchiser of Fıstıkzade Baklava commented that the branching work is going on all over Turkey and added: "Last week, we signed a contract in Bursa. We have a new dealer in Van. Our goal in 2016 for İstanbul is to have a fast start on our journey with 10 branches. Very soon our branches will be opening in Göztepe and Acıbadem districts of İstanbul."
