Fıstıkzade Brand Opening Up to the World

Aiming to first introduce and then market the baklavas that it produces, Fıstıkzade achieved to be first Gaziantep-based baklava producer in Turkey granting a franchise. Setting the market strategy as the whole world, it opened its first concept store on Gazi Muhtar Paşa Boulevard with a large ceremony. It hosted AK Party Gaziantep Deputies Mehmet Erdoğan, Nejat Koçer, Halil Mazıcıoğlu, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, Deputy Governor Cemalettin Özdemir, Şahinbey Mayor Mehmet Tahmazoğlu, Şehitkâmil Mayor Rıdvan Fadıloğlu and Gaziantep Head of the Chamber of Commerce Eyüp Bartık as well many guests, which turned the opening into a parade of delicacy. The famous Gaziantep baklavas prepared meticulously by the most famous baklava chefs in town and Ottoman tamarind sherbet which includes forty varieties of spices to FIstıkzade Baklava managers who started their journey with a goal of offering Gaziantep baklava to all over the world. OTTOMAN TRADITION CAME BACK TO LIFE. On the other hand, following the opening speeches, ‘Baklava Parade' was relived, which is a tradition of offering baklava to the Sultans in the festival of janizaries. During the Baklava parade, the janizaries served baklava wrapped in a special cloth called kutnu to the representative sultan and Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin. Fıstıkzade Baklava Executive Board Member Vedat Diri reminded the guests that the Baklava Parade was an Ottoman Tradition and added: "Baklava is the dessert of the sultans and sultans of the dessert.
